5 Tips on Shower Cleaning
For some people, cleaning the shower area can be dreadful. You need to get rid of soap scum and body oils. And if you don’t maintain it regularly, moulds can grow because of its damp environment. Here are five quick tips to make cleaning your shower easier!
- Have a squeegee and cloth handy - After you finish taking a shower, squeegee the shower walls, door and floor. Wipe the surface off excess water with a cloth including the handles.
- Have an exhaust fan? Turn it on while taking a bath and leave it on after you have finished for around 30 minutes.
- Have a bathroom window? Save energy! If it is not too cold, leave your bathroom window slightly ajar while and after taking a shower. It should help let the moisture out faster.
- Don’t forget your shower heads! Yes, even shower heads need cleaning! If you see some moulds or some mineral deposits that are starting to grow, tie a plastic bag around it filled with vinegar. Leave it overnight.
- Shower tiles and grout - They need cleaning every week. Regular maintenance of shower tiles and grouts is a must to remove body oils that help mildew and moulds to grow. Regular application of Green Rhino’s Shower Cleaner that has mould inhibitors can prevent the outbreak of moulds on your shower tiles and grout.
